Zusammenfassung: | The development of strategic roles requires a paradigm shift in the program of training and development so that a much deeper consideration of the purposes and goals of the development could be obtained. The initial focus of a department of training and development is usually on the final product. The staff would develop as many of them as possible and offer those products to organizations. The authors considered if a different kind of program was needed. Here, the authors propose that departments of training and development emphasize that both the final products and services should comply with the actual needs of the users. The concept behind such a training program is the clients' involvement, and the customer service aspect becomes the most important thing. With various types of well-identified customers, the staff would focus much more on ensuring that all customers would be very pleased with the products and services provided for them. |
