Zusammenfassung:Interferometric fiber-optic gyroscopes with all polarization-maintaining fiber components have been developed for such commercial applications as car navigation systems, attitude control systems of unmanned agricultural helicopters, pipe-mapping systems and a fiber-optic gyrocompass. The current status of the optical and signal processing technologies for mass production is also described.
