Zusammenfassung:The formation and quenching processes of Kr F laser medium were studied by the combination of the pulse radiolysis method and the computer simulation. Three body quenching rate of Kr* (3P2) and metastable channel formation rate of Kr F* were measured from the absorption of the long pulse dye laser probe beam. The formation rates of Kr F* and Ar F* through the metastable channels were determined by the pulse radiolysis fluorescence method in high density condition of Xe and Kr, where the competitive ionic channels disappeared as a result of the charge transfer reaction. These rate constants cross-checked by two different measurements agreed with each other within the experimental error.
