Zusammenfassung:At present, a law of similarity between a model and a full scale artificial floating fish reef does not exist. A model based on Froud's similarity law was thusdesigned. To estimate the angle of inclination and hydraulic registance of artificial floating fish reef to various current velocities, expriments on the model and full scale were carried out. The results obtained are as follows: (1) The angle of inclination is the same tendency until the current velocity is about 60cm/s for the model scale experiment. The anle is about 10°C larger when the same experiment was carried out on a full scale. (2) The hydraulic registance is the same tendency when the current velocity is about 60cm/s for the model and full scale experiments. As the values of hydraulic resistance converted from the model to the full scale are increased by about30%, the values become almost equal to those of the full scale.
