Zusammenfassung:Some research and development of governor control method for hydraulic turbine have been performed to estimate the dynamic characteristics in hydro power plants. In the pipeline system, which consists of a surge chamber, reservoirs, penstock tunnel and tailrace tunnel, the oscillation in a long period of flow deviation may occur. This paper introduces the governor control system with advanced control method, which is capable of suppressing the flow surge in the huge pipeline system.
