Zusammenfassung:The author often provides instruction for various classes that require students to be imaginative as they scour the databases for relevant materials. She asks them to be thorough and judicious in the selection of works for their research projects. The author began by providing bibliographic assistance to writer Tony Platt and his research assistant Eduardo Bautista, and then suddenly, the author was seduced by the whole world of writer-activist Betita Martinez. This bibliography has been an archeological project, rooted in the idea that people ought to know the profound contributions Martinez has made. Many of her writings are used and cited by many people, but the more esoteric or difficult-to-access materials are often only alluded to. Perhaps my most treasured moment of this project was getting to see the transformation of her thought through the issues she addressed and the places where she published.
