Application de la théorie de la structuration aux systèmes ERP : importance de la gestion des connaissances

Our research highlights the importance of the knowledge management when using ERP, through the structuration theory. Based on an exploratory qualitative study in two Tunisian SMEs (Small/Medium Enterprise), this study analyses how do the structural properties, supported by the knowledge management, favor or inhibit the ERP use. Results show that the success of ERP is attributable to the support of knowledge management that leads to the predomination of the signification and the domination properties. However, the failure of ERP is attributable to a bad knowledge management that leads to the predomination of the legitimation property. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
