Zusammenfassung:Nonthermal plasma steam reforming of methane was carried out with two different types of reactors such as ferroelectric packed-bed (FPR) and silent discharge (SDR) in a flow reaction system. The yields of hydrogen and carbon monoxide were much higher with FPR than with SDR under the same conditions. FPR could be operated continuously for 10 h without any decrease in the yields of hydrogen and carbon monoxide.
