Zusammenfassung:An octanuclear oxomolybdenum(V) cluster compound [Mo8O16Cl2(OCH3)6(HOCH3)4] was prepared from the reaction of oxomolybdenum(V) chloride and the potassium salt of triethanolamine in methanol. The complex was used to prepare Sr2FeMoO6, which shows a very high negative magnetoresistance of 33% with a magnetic field of 0.8 T at 12 K.
