Synthesis of Dihydropyrroles and Tetrahydropyridines by the Intramolecular Cyclization of O-Methylsulfonyloximes Having an Active Methine Group

3,4-Dihydro-2H-pyrroles and 2,3,4,5-tetrahydropyridines are prepared from (E)-O-methylsulfonyloximes having an active methine group at γ- and δ-positions, respectively, by the treatment with DBU.
