Zusammenfassung: | A new alkaloid, 14-benzoylneoline, and four known alkaloids, neoline, karakoline, 14-acetyldelcosine, and penduline, were isolated from the roots of Aconitum subcuneatum NAKAI. The structures of 14-benzoylneoline and penduline were confirmed by derivation of these compounds from neoline and aconitine, respectively. A radical-type deoxygenation of a bridgehead hydroxyl group at C-13 was used in the transformation of aconitine into penduline through three steps. |
