Zusammenfassung:Phenoxy-1-indancarboxylic acids (II and III) and (2-thienylcarbonyl)-1-indancarboxylic acids (V, VI and VII) were synthesized via the corresponding phenoxy- and (2-thienylcarbonyl)-1-indancarbonitriles (XII, XVII and XXIII). The relationship between the antiinflammatory activity and the stereochemical features of the substituents of the compounds synthesized was also discussed.
