Zusammenfassung:N-Salicylidene-2-aminopyridine (NSAP) and 1,3,5-trinitrobenzene (TNB) form two kind of crystalline (1/2) complexes, forms I and II. The thermochromism was observed in a charge transfer complex form I, but not in form II. The thermochromism of these crystals was studied based on the temperature dependence of the X-ray analysis and the IR and visible absorption spectra together with the theoretical analysis.
