Zusammenfassung: | An amperometric titration method was tried for berberine hydrochloride, using silicotungstic acid as a precipitating reagent. With H2SO4 (0.10.2N) as supporting electrolyte, and employing a dropping mercury electrode, the titration was made with silicotungstic acid under an applied voltage of Ec=-0.85V vs. S. C. E. The results showed that one mol of silicotungstic acid combined with four mols of berberine hydrochloride. Utilizing the relation, 220 mg of berberine hydrochloride were determined with±2.0% error on the average. |
