Zusammenfassung:An automatic system for the determination of carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen has been developed. This system consists of a data processing system and a safety control system. Data processing system inputs data from carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen analyzer, digital barometer and electronic balance to a personal computer. Carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen analyzer, flash heater, auto sampler, earthquake sensor, temperature sensor in furnace, leak current sensor, flow rate sensor and so on put out control signals. The safety control system inputs control signals to a personal computer and a safety control unit at the same time. When an accident occurs, this system prints out the code-number of the point and cuts off the sources of electricity. A simple method for sampling of hygroscopic, volatile and sublimable samples was developed. Carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen in hygroscopic, volatile and sublimable samples were successfully determined by this method. When tested this system over night, variation in sensitivity was negligible.
