Zusammenfassung: | Selenium and antimony in standard reference materials were determined with tetrahydroborate(III) bound to a resin (Mitsubishi Kasei DIAION SA21A) without separation of transition metals. The hydride-generation equipment used has been described elsewhere [H. Narasaki, Y. Kato and H. Kimura: Anal. Sci., 8, 893 (1992)]. The materials were decomposed by heating with concentrated nitric, perchloric (60 %) and hydrofluoric (46%) acids. Selenium was reduced to Se(IV) with 6 M hydrochloric acid by heating, while antimony was reduced to Sb(III) with 0.1 M potassium iodide. The analytical results were within the certified values. |
