Zusammenfassung:Attenuation of ion beam by ion-molecule collisions which occurred in a mass spectrometer were observed and total microscopic cross sections for He+-He, Ne+-Ne, Ar+-Ar, Ar2+-Ar, and N2+-N2 were evaluated at the ion acceleration voltages of 300, 500, and 1,000 volts. The accuracies of the present results seemed to depend almost upon those of the relative sensitivities of the ionization gauge employed.
