Zusammenfassung: | In order to study the transverse distribution characteristics of the vehicles on super-secondary road with four-lane separated by double amber lines in Xinjiang province, the measured data about transverse position and speed of the vehicle were obtained in the provincial highway S205 of Bole region. The relationship between transverse position and speed of the vehicle with or without interference of opposite vehicles was studied by methods of mathematical statistics, The results indicated that interference of opposite vehicles would increase inside clear distance and reduce outside clear distance. In the case of a narrow road shoulder, the outside clear distance was more than 1metre in addition to individual vehicles. |
