Zusammenfassung:The systemic acaricidal activity of N-mono-and N, N-disubstituted chloromethanesulfonamides against citrus red mites (Panonychus citri MCGREGOR) was determined by applying them to soil. The structure-activity relationships were analyzed using the ORMUCS method. In both series, the activity was highly correlated to the hydrophobicity (π), the steric bulkiness (ECS) and the electron donating property (σI) of the N-substituted groups.
