A Survey of Regression Testing Techniques

Regression testing is the process of validating the modified software to provide confidence that the changed parts of the software behave as intended and that the unchanged parts of the software have not been adversely affected by the modifications. Researchers have proposed many techniques for the different regression testing aspects. In this paper, we review the work which has been done so far in the field of regression testing. In addition, we will organize the surveyed techniques into categories according to the regression testing aspects.
