Zusammenfassung: | A Grid-enabled solution in mechanical design is suggested in the paper. In the beginning, a brief introduction of three distinct phases in mechanical design, i.e., Preliminary Design, Structure Verification, and Performance Evaluation, is presented, followed by a typical scenario. This project is currently in progress. More features are expected to add into in the near future to enhance its strength and flexibility. The MEGrid has been proved to have significant practical value for mechanical design and its architecture in this paper highlights an approach for Grid technologies applications in engineering with distributed software packages involved. |
