Zusammenfassung: | Global total petroleum deficit and environmental concern on the emissions issues concerning pure diesel had started a technological race in producing alternative sources of energy which includes renewable fuel. Among the developed renewable fuels is the biodiesel which is a type of fuel derived from various sources of vegetable plants and waste fuels. Various biodiesels have been engineered to beat par to or even perhaps, a leap better in term of performance topure diesel. In short, biodiesel has shown a promising sign as the best candidate in overcoming total dependent on petroleum-derived fuel. This paper gives review on various tests and experiments conducted on biodiesel in order to highlight the potentials preserved by the fuel and to further endorse for a more mass usage of biodiesel and simultaneously for Malaysia to be a potential global producer of biodiesel fuels in the near future. |
