Zusammenfassung:A shape memory alloy with medical applications was analyzed by corrosion point of view in Ringer solution before and after a thermo-mechanical solicitation. Scanning electrons microscope, EDAX and Potentiostat equipments were used to characterize the material surface and his behavior during and after an electric polarization. Pitting corrosion type was observed on the surface with more accentuated aspects for the fatigued sample.
