Epigenetic palladium mineralization in ultrabasic rocks of the Voikary-Syninskii massif (Polar Urals)

Zusammenfassung:Ultrabasic rocks of the Polar Urals are of special interest in relation to PGEs. Mineral phases mainly of PtOsIrRu composition have been known in rocks and chromite rocks of one of the largest massifs, the VoikarySyninskii massif [1, 2, 4, 6]. In addition, cop pergoldplatinumpalladium ore occurrence with various compositions and PGE proportions with a prevalence of palladium was recently discovered in cli nopyroxenite of the northern part of the massif [5, 7]. Study of chromite ore from the LagortinskoKer shorskaya area of the VoikarySyninskii massif allowed us to discover new occurrences of palladium mineralization, which provides evidence for its wide abundance.
