Zusammenfassung:The electric power distribution system drawing represents a structure of power system by combining lines which shows electric wire and cable, and symbols which shows equipment, customer, etc. When displaying wide area on the Geographic information system, the scale on a display will be very small. In this case, a symbol becomes too small to be checked by our eyes. Also, problem of overlapping will occur for the lines nearby. Therefore we have proposed an algorithm to regulate size of symbol and arrangement of lines, to ensure the visibility. In displaying a large area on a small scale on the Geographic information system. In this paper, we will describe about method and validity of this algorithm.
