Why Applied Baccalaureates Appeal to Working Adults: From National Results to Promising Practices

Mindful that applied baccalaureate degrees often have as their target audience adults who consider themselves workers first and students second, this chapter defines the AB degree, offers insights into why they are important, and presents results of a state‐by‐state inventory highlighting applied baccalaureate degree programs in Oklahoma and Washington.
