Zusammenfassung:The aim of this article concerns the reflection on Children's Literature. The emergent number of publications and studies related to this field create a motivation to research on its legitimacy. It is our desire to mention our doubts about the impossibility of Children's Literature because its roots are based on the innocence of Children's world. This assumption has its origins on Locke and Rousseau's ideas. But, what happens if the myth disappears? And, what happens if Children's Literature is not possible? What is the role of the adult and society? And what happens if the dogma appears in Children's Literature? Would it be for children a possibility to build their free thought? In 1984, Jacqueline Rose's classic essay mentioned the impossibility of Children's Literature. Because of this, we will base our text on that idea. We will try to give some answers to the proposed questions, as well as giving examples to invalid the legitimacy of Children's Literature. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
