ChemInform Abstract: Extraordinary Microwave Effect on atropo-Enantioselective Catalytic Reduction of Biaryl Lactones

The catalytic atropo‐enantioselective Corey—Bakshi—Shibata reduction of biaryl lactones such as (I) and (III) is drastically enhanced under microwave conditions, while high enantioselectivity is maintained.
