ChemInform Abstract: An Efficient Synthesis of (Z)-[alpha]-Fluorochalcones via the Palladium-Catalyzed Cross-Coupling Reaction of (Z)-[alpha]-Fluorocinnamoyl Chloride with Boronic Acids

This method is useful for the preparation of naturally occurring chalcones and it opens the route to a general synthesis of (Z)-[alpha]-fluoro-[alpha],[beta]-unsaturated ketones bearing reactive substituents. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
