Zusammenfassung:Reviews the book, Activities for Teaching Positive Psychology: A Guide for Instructors by Jeffrey J. Froh and Acacia C. Parks (see record 2012-22248-000). This book would appeal to a variety of instructors at the undergraduate level. The editors, Jeffrey Froh and Acacia Parks, make the argument that new, experienced, and seasoned instructors would benefit from this text. The variety of topics offered provides new instructors with guidance on what topics they may choose to cover as well as providing experienced and seasoned instructors more depth to previously discussed topics. In addition, this guide would be useful to instructors beyond positive psychology courses. Some of the activities could also be used in critical thinking, social psychology, clinical psychology, and research methods courses. This guide will further the popularity of positive psychology courses as students engage in active learning that is relevant to their personal experiences.
