Zusammenfassung:RESULTS: 3650 patients had 1 or more AEs over the period investigated, with a total of 4740 AEs (ICD-9, n = 3618; ICD-10, n = 1122). The average reported was 225.7 ± 65.1 AEs/year, for an average incidence of 1.66% ± 0.40% AEs/admission. We found an increase in the following areas: Incidence of AEs (0.97% in 1989; 2.31% in 2009), index of mortality (1.37 in 1998; 1.68 in 2009), index of length of stay (1.40 in 1998; 2.72 in 2009) and relative level of intensity of resources used (2.38 in 1998; 3.83 in 2009).
