Mourning regulations in Ordos, 1909

In 1961, the late Reverend Antoine Mostaert (1881–1971) published a fairly long document, namely the announcement to the Mongols of the Banner Otoγ of the death of the Emperor and the Empress Dowager in the winter of 1908, and a number of regulations for the required period of official mourning (‘Annonce de la mort de l'Empereur Te-tsoung et de l'Impératrice douairière Ts'eu-hi aux Mongols de la bannière d'Otoγ (Ordos)’, in Herbert Franke (ed.), Studia Sino-Altaica: Festschrift für Erich Haenisch zum 80.
