Zusammenfassung:Transport properties (Hall effect, thermoelectric power, electrical conductivity) of metal-ammonia solutions in the non-metal-metal transition concentration range are analysed. It is shown that these properties have to be interpreted in a two-carrier model. The concentrations of the carriers and their mobility variations with metal concentration are obtained from experimental data. The minimum found experimentally in the Hall coefficient ratio α = (R FE /R H ) as a function of metal concentration is shown to be a consequence of the electrolytic nature of dilute metal-ammonia solutions.
