Zusammenfassung:The dialogue Alcibiades of the Socratic philosopher Aeschines of Sphettus was reconstructed from the extant fragments by H. Dittmar in 1912. More fragments were subsequently recovered from papyri and were edited in Part 13 of the Oxyrhynchus Papyri. Two of the Oxyrhynchus fragments make a further contribution to knowledge of the Alcibiades and this paper indicates their significance and tries to fit them into Dittmar's reconstruction, which requires some modification.
