The Majapahit dependency Udama Katraya

The original was lost in the shipwreck of the Froll de la Mar, but its legends had been translated by a Javanese. [...]Francisco Rodrigues, a young and highly regarded mapmaker, had made copies of the part depicting East Asia, showing the sea lanes from Korea and China to the kingdom of Siam, the routes to the Clove Islands, the location of the gold-mines, and 'the islands of Java and Banda of nutmeg and mace' (Albuquerque 1903:I 64-5). [...]the remaining word katraya does not occur elsewhere (Zoetmulder 1982:2034) and would have to be considered as a hybrid of the Old Javanese prefix ka- as used with numerals and the Sanskrit word traya, 'triad', together still meaning 'trio'.
