Zusammenfassung: | In this project, reliable and valid instruments which indicate maternal adaptive behavior during pregnancy and early childrearing were created, tested and revised. A longitudinal examination of a variety of maternal infant variables was made through periodic measures from the 12th week of gestation to six months postpartum. The sample size consisted of 76 mother-child pairs. A reliable, valid and practical questionnaire was devised, which when used at 34–36 weeks gestation is predictive of maternal postnatal behavior. |
