The Introductory Public Administration Course: Approach for the 1960's and Beyond

Educators charged with the formulation of introductory courses in public administration have failed to keep abreast of the changes in public policy and administration. Government by contract, the role and function of the military, the administration of overseas programs, and public administration in the developing nations are new subjects that must be included in the introductory course, if we are to meet the challenge of modern public administration.
