Zusammenfassung: | A 21-year-old college student self-recorded drug taking and drug-related thoughts as part of a behavioral assessment program. Following 3 weeks of self-recording drug-taking behavior, the frequency of dexedrine tablet ingestion was markedly reduced and remained at a substantially reduced level for the duration of the self-recording period. The frequency of drug-related thoughts similarly diminished during the self-recording period. Self-recording as both assessment and therapy for drug abuse is discussed. |
