Zusammenfassung:	This article presents a Brazilian biographical bibliography primarily on memorialismo, a genre encompassing memoirs, autobiographies and collected reminiscenses that has been flourishing since the 1930's and 40's. The introductory essay discusses the two main types of memoirs prevalent in Brazil—literary and historical—and also describes other biographical narratives. This bibliography is a sampling of the diversity and range of biographical publications coming forth from Brazil and represents an attempt at a first compilation of this nature.
