Zusammenfassung: | A technique for observing bubble formation during binder burnout in ceramics processing has been developed using the hot‐stage microscope. Four sets of samples were designed to meet different objectives of the study. Bubble nucleation, growth, and shrinkage were observed. Influencing factors, such as initially trapped gas bubbles, amount of residual solvent, ceramic powder surface, and heating rate were studied. |
