Exploration of Lithia Glassforming Systems: I, Li2O-CaO-Al2O3-SiO2, at Different Levels from 0 to 30 Weight % CaO

Areas of glass formation were determined in the system Li2O‐CaO‐Al2O3‐SiO2 at different levels from 0 to 30 weight % CaO. Thermal, chemical, optical, and electrical properties also were determined. Some of the glasses, especially those at the higher CaO levels, may find commercial application.
