Zusammenfassung: | Strength, absorption, and saturation‐coefficient relations were analyzed on 3205 brick whose individual properties were reported in Building Materials and Structures Report BMS60. These brick included examples of all commercial types of forming and represented a wide range of raw materials. The analysis consisted of classifying the specimens into groups throughout a range of one property and calculating the averages of other properties thus associated. Similar analyses were made of subgroups selected on the bases of raw material and method of forming. Plotting these averages gave smooth and regular curves for the relation of one property to another. Characteristic differences among the relations of certain properties were found among groups classified according to raw material and method of forming. |
