IMPROVED MOUNT FOR POWDERED SPECIMENS USED ON THE GEIGER-COUNTER X-RAY SPECTROMETER

Preparation of powdered specimens to achieve a high degree of random orientation and improved uniformity is described and illustrated. Patterns obtained on some commonly encountered ceramic minerals are included.
