A number of specific suggestions are made regarding: (1) the standards by which clinical dissertations are evaluated, and (2) the development of special seminars in a study of a single person (multi-trait, multi-occasion, mono-person), in naturalistic observation, and in translation of basic science concepts and data into clinical tools.
