Zusammenfassung: | Values held by two groups of social work students in Zambia, one just beginning their professional education and the other nearing its completion, were examined and comparisons made with the results of a similar study conducted in the United States. Great similarity was found in the scores of the American and Zambian students. A major finding is the fact that there is apparently little change in the acquisition of professional values resulting from professional education. Possible explanations for these findings are explored. |
