Zusammenfassung:This article proposes a pricing model, based upon the retention of current students, that colleges can utilize in determining an appropriate tuition charge. A computer-based model is developed that quantifies the relationship between tuition elasticity and projected net return to the college. The model is applied to determine an appropriate tuition rate for a small, private, liberal arts college.
