Zusammenfassung: | Extract: There is a single basic difference between the results of a Clarke-Wright analysis and those provided by a districting analysis. The Clarke-Wright technique specifies the exact sequence of stops, permitting little room for management discretion. Districting analysis, however, simply groups the demand points of the total service area into a specified number of compact service districts. Actual route design for each of these smaller districtsis left to management. The data indicate that both procedures give similar results. |
