Zusammenfassung:The relationship between speed of performance and conceptual style was examined by imposing short and long response latencies on analytic and nonanalytic second-grade subjects, respectively. It was predicted that with these response latency manipulations, analytic children would decrease and nonanalytic children would increase their production of analytic responses. The expected change was obtained only for nonanalytic children.
