Zusammenfassung: | This study presents the results of multiple periodic electroacoustic assessments of the voices of actors in a university-based M.F.A. training program in acting. Data were collected on two to four occasions per subject at intervals of 9–12 months apart. Ultimately, from a pool of 84 actors, 44 subjects generated data for as many as 83 comparisons. Data were collected on 18 tasks during various conditions including oral reading, rehearsed script, and individually selected monologue. Several of the comparisons revealed statistically significant changes over time. |
