This article examines how norms of justice depend on the relationship existing between the partners to an action and on the group cohesion uniting them. In a first part, based on the literature, we look at the norms of distributive justice. In a second part, focusing on procedural justice and based on three empirical studies, we try to define the link between the more or less bureaucratic and anonymous character of the relationships and the standards used by the actors to appreciate the fairness of contracts. It is thus pointed out that the appreciation of the validity of commitments and of the liability of the actors vary considerably according to the relational context in which contracts are entered into. The general assumption of this work is that the norms of justice reflect more a relation between persons than a balance between exchanged goods.
